Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 package of crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces of full-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup of whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans (or sunflower seeds for a nut-free option)
  • Chopped fresh parsley or thyme (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine 8 ounces of softened cream cheese, 1 cup of whole berry cranberry sauce, and 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts (or your choice of nuts). Mix until well blended.
  3. Open the crescent roll dough and unroll it, separating the triangles carefully.
  4. Take a spoonful of the cranberry cream cheese mixture and place it at the wide end of each crescent triangle, leaving enough space to roll them up.
  5. Carefully roll the triangle from the wide end to the tip, tucking the filling in as you go, and pinch the seams to seal.
  6. Place the rolled bites on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each one.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Remove the bites from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes before serving.
