This Peanut Butter Cold Brew is a refreshing blend of cold brew coffee and creamy peanut butter, perfect for coffee enthusiasts seeking a unique twist. Easy to prepare and customizable, it’s an ideal treat for hot days or any time you crave something special.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup coarsely ground coffee
  • 4 cups cold water
  • 1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1/4 cup milk (dairy or non-dairy, your choice)
  • 2 tablespoons sweetener (honey, maple syrup, or sugar, adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Ice cubes
  • Optional: whipped cream for topping
  • Optional: chocolate shavings or cocoa powder for garnish

Instructions

  1. In a large pitcher or jar, combine the coarsely ground coffee and cold water. Make sure the coffee grounds are evenly saturated.
  2. Stir the mixture gently to ensure all the coffee grounds are wet.
  3. Cover the pitcher or jar and let it steep in the refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours.
  4. After steeping, strain the coffee through a fine mesh sieve or coffee filter into another container. Discard the coffee grounds.
  5. In a medium bowl, add the creamy peanut butter. If too thick, microwave for 10-15 seconds to soften.
  6. Add the milk to the peanut butter and mix until smooth.
  7. Add the sweetener of your choice and vanilla extract. Blend until creamy and well combined.
  8. Pour the cold brew concentrate into a glass, filling it halfway.
  9. Add the peanut butter mixture and stir well to combine.
  10. Taste and adjust sweetness if needed, then fill the glass with ice cubes.
  11. Stir the drink one last time to mix everything together.
  12. Top with whipped cream if desired, and sprinkle with chocolate shavings or cocoa powder.
  13. Enjoy your Peanut Butter Cold Brew with a straw or spoon!
