Ingredients

  • Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • Freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Panko breadcrumbs
  • Fresh garlic cloves
  • Heavy cream
  • Salt
  • Pepper
  • Italian seasoning
  • Butter
  • Chopped parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pat the chicken breasts dry with paper towels and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. In a shallow bowl, combine the grated Parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, and Italian seasoning. Mix well until evenly combined.
  4. Dip each chicken breast into the breadcrumb mixture, pressing down slightly to ensure the coating sticks well.
  5. Place the coated chicken breasts on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake in the preheated oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the crust is golden brown.
  6. While the chicken is baking, melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.
  7. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in more Parmesan cheese, salt, and pepper to taste. Let the sauce thicken for about 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  8. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Serve the chicken drizzled with the creamy garlic sauce and garnish with chopped parsley.
