These Jalapeno Popper Wonton Cups combine the creamy, cheesy goodness of traditional jalapeno poppers with the delightful crunch of wonton wrappers. Perfect for gatherings or cozy nights in, they are sure to impress your guests!

Ingredients

  • Wonton wrappers
  • Cream cheese
  • Shredded cheese (blend of cheddar and pepper jack)
  • Fresh jalapenos
  • Bacon (optional)
  • Garlic powder
  • Onion powder
  • Salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Lightly grease a muffin tin with cooking spray. Gently press a wonton wrapper into each cup, making sure to form a little cup shape.
  3. Bake the wonton wrappers for about 5-7 minutes until they become slightly golden and crisp. Keep an eye on them to prevent burning.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, shredded cheeses, diced jalapenos, cooked bacon (if using), garlic powder, onion powder, and salt. Mix everything until well combined.
  5. Remove the wonton cups from the oven and let them cool for a minute. Then, spoon the jalapeno popper filling into each cup, filling them generously.
  6. Place the filled cups back in the oven and bake for another 10-12 minutes, or until the filling is hot and bubbly, and the tops are slightly golden.
  7. Once out of the oven, let them cool slightly. You can sprinkle some additional chopped jalapenos or green onions on top for a fresh touch.
  8. Enjoy these warm as a delightful appetizer or snack!
