- 1 1/2 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1/2 cup Unsweetened Cocoa Powder
- 1 tsp Baking Powder
- 1/2 tsp Baking Soda
- 1/4 tsp Salt
- 1 cup Granulated Sugar
- 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
- 2 large Eggs
- 1/2 cup Vegetable Oil (or Melted Butter)
- 1/2 cup Milk
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Hot Fudge Ingredients: 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder, 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar, 1/4 cup Milk, 2 tbsp Butter, 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a standard 9×5-inch loaf pan, or line it with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- In a separate medium bowl, whisk together the granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, vegetable oil (or melted butter), milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- In a small saucepan over medium-low heat, whisk together the cocoa powder, granulated sugar, milk, and butter for the fudge swirl until smooth. Remove from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour about half of the brownie bread batter into your prepared loaf pan. Drizzle half of the hot fudge sauce over the batter and swirl gently.
- Spoon the remaining brownie bread batter over the first layer and drizzle the remaining hot fudge sauce on top. Swirl again.
- Bake for 50-65 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs. Tent with aluminum foil if browning too quickly.
- Let the loaf cool in the pan for 10-15 minutes before lifting it out and cooling completely on a wire rack.
