Cheesy Beef Bacon Puff Pastry Stacks: Irresistibly Delicious!

Indulge in layers of flaky puff pastry filled with savory ground beef, crispy bacon, and gooey cheese. This dish combines comforting flavors with a touch of gourmet flair, perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

  • Puff Pastry
  • Ground Beef
  • Bacon
  • Cream Cheese
  • Cheddar Cheese
  • Garlic Powder
  • Onion Powder
  • Paprika

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) to ensure it’s nice and hot when the stacks go in.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the beef until browned, breaking it apart with a spoon. Add the chopped beef bacon and cook until crispy. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Remove the skillet from heat and stir in the cream cheese until well combined. Then, mix in the shredded cheddar cheese and seasonings. Set aside to cool slightly.
  4. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut it into squares or rectangles, about 4×4 inches each. You’ll want enough pieces to make several layers for each stack.
  5. Place one piece of puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Spoon a generous amount of the beef and cheese mixture on top. Add another layer of puff pastry, and repeat the process until you’ve used up the filling. Top with a final piece of puff pastry.
  6. For a beautiful golden finish, beat an egg and brush it over the top layer of pastry.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes or until the pastry is golden brown and puffed up.
  8. Once baked, let the stacks cool for a few minutes before serving. They’re perfect as an appetizer or a fun main dish!
